He has 12 years of academic work experience. He did Ph.D. in Economics at Madras School of Economics and received 2 years Post-Doctoral Fellowship from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He received overseas research grant from World Bank and was a Visiting Researcher at International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Italy. He has published one book and contributed research papers in international and national journals, edited books and in conference proceedings. He has organized several conferences and workshops and conducted management training programs for researchers, government servants and academicians. His area of research and teaching interest includes Macroeconomics, International Business and Environmental Economics. The World Resources Institute, USA has cited his research findings in their Annual Report on World Resources. He is a life-time member of Indian Econometric Society and holds membership in International Society for Ecological Economics, Sweden. He is a member of Editorial Board, International Journal of Ecology and Development and reviewer for international and national journals. |
