Mr. Raj Sharma (Co- Founder & President)


Mr. Raj Sharma’s education has been from Mumbai University and from the various divisions of a very reputed institute called Vivekanand Education Society.


He was amongst the top five students when he passed his matriculation. He then joined the Vivekanand Education Society's Polytechnic to do a Diploma in Industrial Electronics which he successfully completed to get direct admission in second year Degree Engineering and graduated with First Class Honors in Electronics & Telecommunications. Further he completed his Masters of Management Studies in Marketing (MMS) also with First Class Honors.



His career kick started with Godrej followed by working for a Dutch photocopying company Océ where his involvement was in the stages of product launch to the setting up the distribution of the sales network. Moving on to Tata Nelco for a brief period where he was responsible for the Marketing Communications of its products.


He then joined Majestic Software Limited, which was an IT/ITES company in 1997. The prime responsibility was International Business Development and Customer Management. In 1998, the Research Business was carved out and recapitalized Majestic MRSS that is now the vehicle of operation that Mr. Raj Sharma and Mr. Sandeep Bhatia are at the helm of.



Raj has travelled extensively overseas on business and has extremely good understanding of global markets. His interactions have been extensively with the US from east to the west coast. He has stayed for stints in Australia and Thailand that gives him a strong understanding of the APAC region. His geographical forte lies in Europe and he has spent three years staying in London.



Raj is also the International Features Editor for QRCA VIEWS, a publication of QRCA (Qualitative Research Consultants Association), a not-for-profit association that promotes excellence in all aspects of qualitative research. He is also associated with various associations such as ESOMAR, AEMRI, MSPA, WAPOR, AIAI, FICCI, CII, ePHMRA, AQR, etc
